I’m Samantha S. Turner. Over the past eight years, I have worked with numerous community organizations, provided employment to Youngstown residents, built partnerships, and started raising a new family here in the city.
I have emerged as a leader not just in my community, but also as director of operations at Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries.

If elected, I will ensure the good people of the Third Ward are heard, considered and reflected in Council’s decisions.
As former chief operating officer at American Maintenance Services Inc. and current director of operations at Goodwill, I understand the challenges of economic development. One of my top priorities is to work with the Community Planning and Economic Development (CPED) Department to promote Youngstown as a business-friendly area, ensure the availability of resources, and help existing businesses thrive in our city.
As a single mother, I understand that neighborhood infrastructure and quality of life are essential to the security, well-being, and future of every family.
